Oeiras Valley Science Festival

Oeiras becomes the capital of science with the first edition of the Oeiras Valley Science Festival at Taguspark. A unique and comprehensive event with free admission, which invites all audiences to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics in a creative, fun and critical way. The central theme is artificial intelligence.

Alexandre Quintanilha is the Festival's Scientific Director and Vitor Cardoso is the event's curator, bringing more than 80 renowned speakers. In addition, more than 50 partners have spaces and activities prepared for visitors.

Organized by the Municipality of Oeiras, the event is co-organized by Taguspark. The Science Project (a subsidiary of The Book Company) is the festival’s promoter.

This festival invites all children, young people, families, teachers, professionals, and curious minds of all ages to reflect on the impact of artificial intelligence, its challenges, and its opportunities—because artificial intelligence is not just a topic for the future, but a reality of the present.
