Saxophonist Cabrita will take the stage at the Taguspark Auditorium on October 21 at 9:00 p.m. to perform his second album, *Umbra*, live. This is the second performance in the Taguspark Concert Series dedicated to contemporary Portuguese music and marks the conclusion of the album’s live tour, featuring the live premiere of the new single, “Party Life.” Tickets are available on BOL and cost €15 each.

Released by Omnichord Records, *Umbra* follows Cabrita’s debut album, released in 2020, and reveals a more reflective side of the musician. With a darker tone than its predecessor, the album explores existence and the way we inhabit the world. In 2026, the saxophonist also released *Afterlife*, a remix album of *Umbra*. The concert at Taguspark precedes the release of *Partytime*, which will be followed by a new show and a new tour.

With more than three decades of collaborations with artists such as Sérgio Godinho and The Legendary Tigerman, Cabrita performs with his trio, featuring João Rato on keyboards and guitar and Filipe Rocha on drums. Tonight, David Pessoa joins them on vocals and guitar for the premiere of “Party Life.”

The series kicked off on September 30 with Carlos Bica and wraps up on November 18 with Ricardo Reis Soares, a singer-songwriter of the new generation whose artistic world is rooted in singer-songwriter music, where lyrics, emotion, and storytelling take center stage.

With this program, Taguspark strengthens its cultural offerings and establishes itself as a leading venue for artistic creation as well. By bringing together three leading figures in contemporary Portuguese music, the ecosystem reinforces its commitment to providing high-quality cultural programming that is accessible to the community that works, studies, and visits the City of Knowledge.
