“Landscapes of the Present (Cont.)” is the title of the latest exhibition by the À’Linha Collective, which opens on November 21 and will run through January 18 in the Atrium of the Taguspark Central Hub.

Just as a line connects points, the “À’Linha” Collective brings together 16 artists with diverse artistic languages and techniques, yet who share the same geographical and emotional connection: the coastline between Oeiras and Cascais. A line that was abruptly interrupted and silenced in 2020 due to the pandemic, but which now comes together again at the House of Arts & Science, curated by Ricardo Tadeu Barros.

“Landscapes of the Present (Cont.)” brings together works by Cristina Gil, Isabel Rocha Leite, João Catarino, Joana Verdial, Mariana Cortez Herédia, Mário Godinho, Patrícia de Herédia, Ricardo Tadeu Barros, Sandy Leslie, Tim Madeira, Vânia Gonçalves, Vered Brett, João Vento, Mariana Dimas, Ricardo Passos, Rui Garrido, and Telmo Castro.

The Collective, which is part of the program at MAU – Museum of Urban Art, aims to promote artists who have always lived along the geographical corridor stretching from Oeiras to Cascais, and seeks to contribute to critical thinking and the well-being of those who visit and work at the City of Knowledge.
