BusUp, Taguspark's partner company for corporate transportation in shared buses, has launched a new service adapted to the needs of companies and employees in times of coronavirus. The service is already available to Taguspark's partner companies (Millennium BCP, Altice and Novo Banco). From September, the network will be available to all Taguspark resident companies. BusUp is the market leader with the most advanced digital platform for optimizing and managing corporate transport services in shared buses.

In this post-confinement situation, BusUp has launched a new special Covid-19 service that offers companies even more security and flexibility. On the one hand, together with the operator, it implements a series of prevention and hygiene measures that minimize the risk of contagion (mandatory use of a mask and provision of alcohol gel), as well as controlling the capacity of the buses, guaranteeing a maximum of two-thirds of the capacity, following the DGS standards. On the other hand, thanks to the online booking platform and fully contactless electronic control, the service also allows companies to minimize the risk during transport to work, guaranteeing traceability of potential contagion.

During the lockdown period, BusUp carried out a study with more than 600 users of its platform. The study shows that 88% of users consider the company bus to be safe transport - or very safe - compared to the alternative of using a car, motorcycle or public transport on a daily basis.

The shared transport service operates through the Taguspark Platform and is available to companies in the Science and Technology Park. BusUp offers a 100% integrated service.

The platform gives both the company and its employees greater control, flexibility and convenience in corporate transportation. It's a unique experience for the passenger, who has access to a network of routes in real time, and through the app can also access the GPS position of their bus, information about the drivers and customer support.

This flexibility allows passengers to use the service according to their needs, and they can even change routes or cancel days from time to time. On the other hand, companies have access to their own dashboard, where they can consult the main indicators relating to the operation and use of corporate transportation.

Taguspark's pioneering companies for sharing the corporate transportation service are Millennium BCP, Altice and Novo Banco.

The current 12 routes available (from Lisbon - Sete Rios, Marquês de Pombal, Amoreiras, Campo Grande, Oriente and Cais do Sodré, Cacém and Oeiras) will be increased to more than 30, in order to cover a greater diversity of origins and daily schedules.
