The group exhibition "Meeting the Future", by Cardoz and Nature The Artist, presents a reflection on humanity's relationship with nature, encouraging the construction of new, broader and more conscious understandings.

In the works on display, both artists adopt a fatalistic ideology. The satirical depiction of predictions of the future, sometimes quite gloomy, underpins a critique of over-consumption, capitalism and contempt for nature. Through painting and sculpture, the artists illustrate new realities, warn of the human condition and portray unknown landscapes that belong to the future: "It's easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism" - Mark Fisher, 2009.

Cardoz and Nature The Artist's artistic practice revolves around various humanitarian and environmental themes. Cardoz (João Cardoso) has been exploring the behavior and actions of humanity in the 21st century. Nature The Artist (Tomás João Carreira) focuses on natural phenomena and contextualizes them in socio-contemporary habits.

The artists' presence at Taguspark is part of the MAU - Museum of Urban Art program, which aims to promote critical thinking and contribute to the well-being of those who visit and work in the City of Knowledge.
