Taguspark has just signed a protocol with the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, which will result in collaboration on art exhibitions and the development of artistic residencies, courses and art workshops in the City of Knowledge.

As part of this agreement, Taguspark will host art exhibitions at its Central Nucleus with artists proposed by the National Fine Arts Society. It also provides a 170 m2 open space for Artist Residencies, where artists proposed by the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes can develop their artistic practice.

The agreement, which is part of the MAU - Museum of Urban Art, also includes courses (theoretical and theoretical-practical) which are programmed by the National Society of Fine Arts and held at Taguspark - City of Knowledge. Taguspark associates and partners, including companies located in the City of Knowledge, will benefit from a discount on enrollment and tuition fees.

For Eduardo Baptista Correia, CEO of Taguspark, "Culture is a cornerstone of Taguspark and represents a dynamic project that is expanding, stimulating creativity and the personal development of all the Park's inhabitants. Signing this partnership with the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes underlines the disruptive, bold and urban spirit that we experience on a daily basis in this place of brilliant people."

João Paulo de Araújo Queiroz, president of the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, points out that "This partnership with Taguspark allows us to deepen the exchange of synergies between the two entities and creates opportunities for emerging artists."
