Intelligence Planet goes into orbit in Taguspark gardens

"Planet of Intelligence" is the latest art installation to inhabit the gardens of Taguspark - City of Knowledge, in Oeiras Valley, as part of the Urban Art Museum.

Developed from the symbiosis of human and artificial intelligence, "Intelligence Planet" is the result of lunchtime conversations between the Taguspark team.

"They were lunches and moments of outdoor leisure, real brainstorming, where we took the opportunity to enjoy the gardens and the green space that surrounds us, while using an artificial intelligence tool to visually realize the ideas that were emerging," explains Eduardo Baptista Correia, CEO of Taguspark. "The themes evolved until the idea of Globo Terrestre, that image of the globe from our childhood, took shape and evolved physically," he concludes.

Weighing 4.5 tons, the newest piece of art in the collection of MAU - Taguspark's Urban Art Museum was created by Gate 7, which designed the details, structural design, production and installation of the piece.

Composed of a metal structure that reveals the meridians and parallels, and fiberglass and polyester resin that gives shape to the continents, the "Planet of Intelligence" structure is located next to the access to the Instituto Superior Técnico, from Avenida Professor Doutor Cavaco Silva.

On a tour of the gardens and garages of Europe's most civic park, you can discover challenging and creative works by several nationally recognized Portuguese artists. Because creativity has no limits and the Taguspark ecosystem is based on science and technology, we challenge you to discover an art structure that is the result of conversations between collaborators, a design created by artificial intelligence and which human hands helped to create.
