The "Chromatic Mist" exhibition at the Taguspark Central Nucleus, from July 17 to September 17, shows a set of works in which RAF, the pseudonym of Rui Alexandre Ferreira, challenges the eye to decipher what is hidden behind the mist of color.
Among the works on show is the piece "Chromatic Mist", which was conceived and produced at Taguspark, where the technique of spraying and projecting paint reinforces the effect of mist and the idea of blurriness and indefiniteness. Combined with the concept of speed, which is also present, it reflects the fast/slow, close/far, precise/random movement of the artist's gesture when painting. Characterized by the expression of the paint on the object.
The artist from Lisbon has a multifaceted career that spans design, airbrushing, urban art and scenography. He graduated from the Escola Artística António Arroio in Equipment Design and Performing Arts and has a Masters in Sculpture from the Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa. He is the author of the largest urban artwork in Europe by a single artist - a 2,800 m² mural in the Alta de Lisboa.
