Madagascar, tells the story of a group of inseparable friends who escape from their home in New York's Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the extravagant and crazy world of Madagascar.
Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo.
He and his best friends - Marty, Melman and Gloria, have spent their entire lives in captivity, happy in front of an admiring public and with regular meals. Not content with his life, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and plans a whole escape - with the help of some prodigious penguins - to explore the world.
Filled with fun and adventurous characters, Madagascar leaves audiences with no choice but to "MOVE IT, MOVE IT"!
