Designed from the ground up to revolutionize the future of work, the Taguspark building was inaugurated today, a 12 million euro operation to build in Portugal an example of the best in the world. It will house the headquarters of PHC Software, where the Portuguese multinational aims to redefine the office concept and provide the best experience for working in Portugal. The new facilities, dubbed by PHC as the house of digital business, have 4,000 m2 of workspace for 300 employees, plus two floors of parking.
The three surface floors plus two below ground add up to 8,000 m2, capacity for 300 employees and 250 parking spaces. PHC Software's new headquarters, in Taguspark, was designed with the future of work in mind, with space for creativity and collaboration. More than just a space, it is a new way of thinking about the office and the workplace.
The facilities offer natural light at every workstation and a terrace with a privileged view of the sea. Investment has also been made in acoustic comfort to increase focus and productivity. With a new, modern working concept in mind, the company has several spaces, including auditoriums, meeting rooms, a recording studio, leisure and wellness spaces and rooms for incubating startups, among others.
"Today is a landmark day for Taguspark, in which the City of Knowledge completes another building from scratch to house a Portuguese company of international standing such as PHC Software. This was a partnership project from the outset, to provide PHC with facilities that offer its employees the best workplace experience. PHC Software's new headquarters are located on Plot 33 of Taguspark, close to the central core and Nelson Mandela Square. The building consolidates a new phase in the development of Taguspark, in terms of new constructions, thus contributing to the evolution and modernization of the architecture of the City of Knowledge located in the Municipality of Oeiras.
