The dialogue between the artist and the "On Pink Floyd" collection conveys his sensations, his inner struggles, his encounters and disagreements with history and, in a very natural method, the work took care of itself, escaped the control of its creator, and projected itself onto canvas, sculpture, paper and image, not in a mechanical way, but in a dialectical way.
ALBUQ has created a genuine gestural grammar and by using his body as an instrument to build his work, he stands out from his generation as a gesturalist, working with themes in a naturally undisciplined method. After several decades, he has managed to define the individuality of his 'trace' in an original way that, here and there, draws on the language and techniques of Salvador Dali and Jackson Pollock, two of his heaviest influences. He has several tours of the United States on his CV, where he has exhibited and donated his work.
