AQVA MORE develops water-saving system for homes and services

AQVA MORE, a startup based at the Taguspark Incubator, has developed a technological system that is intuitive and easy to install in any home, which saves considerable amounts of water. As an example, in a four-person household, Aqva More's system can prevent the waste of around 20,000 liters of water per year. The system is available for sale and can already be booked. With this technology, AQVA MORE won the Start Up Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2019 award.

With the new AQVA MORE system, when you turn on the tap to shower or get hot water, the water will only come out when it's hot. Until the water reaches the desired temperature, the system retains the cold water that would otherwise be wasted in the pipes. This is how the AQVA MORE system works, which saves thousands of liters a year in homes or service spaces.

To start saving, simply install two modules, one on the boiler or water heater and one on the tap. The system is easy to set up, with no work required at home.

Operation is simple. The control module (installed in the boiler or water heater) registers the water savings (digital control) and manages the peripheral modules. The peripheral modules are installed on the tap or taps where you want to save water. The system allows you to install several modules throughout the house. It is easy to pair the various devices and communication is wireless.

and can be installed in houses, apartments or local accommodation, and also in offices, companies or workshops, as well as in sports buildings, gyms and all kinds of changing rooms.
