The "Lavoisier Giraffe," made from 5,200 rubber flip-flops that were removed from the Indian Ocean and 156 kilograms of waste collected from landfills, is 5.6 meters tall. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, this giraffe serves as a warning of the threat to the species, which is in danger of extinction.
