MAU – Museu de Arte Urbana (Museum of Urban Art) is a project that began in 2019 at Taguspark. This open-air museum promotes the coexistence of art, science, technology, and innovation.
With an ever-growing collection of murals and sculptures by renowned artists, MAU has established itself as a dynamic cultural center accessible to all who visit Taguspark. Art exhibitions, artists' residencies, workshops and events involve the community and reinforce Taguspark's role in promoting art at national and international level.
This is an innovative city of art, science, and technology.
TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS
Artist Residencies
The MAU-SNBA Artist Residencies, created by the collaboration between Taguspark and SNBA - Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes, reflect the innovative spirit of the City of Knowledge.
This program serves as a bridge between Taguspark and contemporary art, exploring the dialogue between creativity, diversity and technology. Open to emerging or established artists, it offers unique opportunities for expression and innovation.
During the residency, events are organized that are open to the public, allowing everyone to exchange and get involved. This program accompanies and promotes the artists and also challenges the development of their projects.
Applications and regulations for use of the space
Lasting four months, the Artist Residencies offer a workspace in the City of Knowledge where artists can deepen their practice around a theme previously defined in their application.
Applications should be sent by email to: ra@taguspark.pt with the following information:
- Updated portfolio
- Curriculum Vitae
- Theme to be explored in the project
- Motivations for residency
- Indication of the desired edition (January-April or May-August or September-December)

Fora d'Horas is Taguspark's proposal for moments of pure inspiration and leisure.
