When we began this mandate in 2018, we had before us the enormous challenge of reversing the course of the stagnation that had characterised the recent past of Portugal’s largest science and technology park.
Added to this challenge was the responsibility of supervising the demands that the vision of Oeiras Valley, as embodied by the Oeiras municipal political cycle from the end of 2017, brought to the ecosystem of which we form part.
We began a period of very intense work with a view to becoming a benchmark at European level.
After a detailed audit, we renovated the buildings and all interior and exterior public spaces. We have created increasing levels of demand based on ambitious objectives regarding the quality of the results of our actions, in particular the impact on customer satisfaction, on results and financial sustainability and on the agility, transparency and efficiency of our processes.
After this short and intense period of time, we are satisfied with the journey we have made and the results we have achieved.
Today, we are an example of civil-mindedness and wellness in the workplace. We have built a strong, motivated, and spirited team. We have found growing indices of satisfaction and well-being among the community, which bolster our determination and motivation to intensify the demanding standards we aspire to in everything we do.
Taguspark now has sounder financial sustainability, promotes youth entrepreneurship in the Incubator, bolsters collaboration, innovation, and exacting ties with suppliers, actively promotes the development of relations with the University and researchers, makes art and culture available in the workplace and strengthens the demanding Oeiras Valley concept.
Every day, we demonstrate how wealth and development can be created in Portugal in an environment marked by positive attitudes and hard work.
In short, we contribute to higher levels of happiness and wellness for thousands of people who attend this Knowledge City on a daily basis.
